Often called the ‘perfect perennial’ because of its numerous qualities: showy flowers, wide array of vibrant colors, drought tolerance, heat stress immunity, ability to grow in most hardiness zones and low care requirements, Daylily (Hemerocallis) is a remarkable and stunning addition to the garden!

In 2008 I visited my very special friend, Rosie Plummer, and she had the most beautiful gardens. They were  filled with daylilies, peonies, irises, poppies and numerous other lovely perennials.

When I left her home that day I left with several daylilies that she dug up and tagged for me. That day was the start a rewarding venture. Thank you Rosie for introducing me to such beautiful flowers.
